Type Exploration

This project focused on exploring the use of three typefaces and a limited color palette to create a cohesive series of badge designs. Drawing inspiration from my love of baseball, I aimed to capture the sport’s rich typographic history and dynamic visual style.

The badges featured a mix of designs—some incorporating imagery, while others relied solely on typography to convey their message. The typefaces used, Old Erika, Routed Gothic, and Mascot MVB, were carefully selected for their unique characteristics and ability to evoke the nostalgia and energy of baseball’s aesthetic. This exercise allowed me to experiment with type and composition while maintaining visual harmony across diverse styles.
