IT CAME FROM TEXAS
FILM FESTIVAL
Brand Design, Art Direction, Print, Digital
The City of Garland approached me to develop a logo and poster design for their Second Annual "It Came From Texas Film Festival," celebrating films created in the Lone Star State. Texas boasts a vibrant cinematic history, and I aimed to craft a logo that captured the retro charm of this legacy while nodding to the state’s dynamic future.
In addition to the logo, I designed a poster and digital banners to promote the festival. The featured film, Giant, served as a creative focal point. Drawing inspiration from the movie’s West Texas setting, I incorporated thematic elements and a color palette evocative of its iconic landscapes. These designs unified the festival’s identity, creating a cohesive and engaging visual story for audiences.
